Meet the Aspire Team
MEET THE FOUNDER
Janine Viner
Janine's journey started in 2012, in the most humble of settings — her own front bedroom, converted into a small studio with just a handful of clients and a big idea. She believed that real care and real expertise could change people's lives, no matter their age or stage, and she set out to build something that put that belief into practice, one client at a time.
Over a decade on, that idea has grown into Aspire Wellness Hub — a full team and facility overlooking the picturesque Runaway Bay marina. The water was always part of the vision. Janine has long understood the calming effect it has, and from the beginning she wanted Aspire to feel the same way: a safe, welcoming, warm space where clients could show up as they are and be genuinely looked after — not just another appointment on a list.
From a single room to a multidisciplinary team, Janine has built Aspire around one constant: meeting people exactly where they are, and helping them move forward from there. It's a milestone she's proud of, but for Janine, the achievement was never about the growth alone — it's the clients who've walked through the door over the years, and the space they now call theirs.
Always upbeat and endlessly accommodating of the busy, unpredictable lives her clients lead, Janine brings a warmth to Aspire that's impossible to miss — it's a big part of why her clients don't just come back, they genuinely love her.

MEET OUR EXCERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST
Ben McKerrell
Ben's approach to exercise physiology is grounded in a genuine commitment to ongoing learning. He built his foundation with a Bachelor of Exercise Science, followed by a Master's in Clinical Exercise Physiology — and has continued developing his expertise ever since. Through further training with the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI), Ben has developed a particular specialisation in the relationship between pain and the biomechanics of breathing, an area that now underpins much of how he works with clients.
Rather than treating pain as an isolated issue to fix in a single session, Ben looks at the fuller picture — how someone breathes, how they move, and how those patterns may be quietly contributing to pain or restricted movement. His approach centres on resolving the underlying source of discomfort, restoring energy and function, and building genuine resilience against future injury, rather than offering a short-term patch.
For Ben, exercise physiology isn't just about addressing symptoms — it's about helping clients understand their own bodies well enough to move with confidence, recover properly, and stay well for the long term.

MEET OUR PRACTICE MANAGER
Heather Howard
Heather is the person keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes at Aspire.
She manages your appointments from start to finish and takes care of all claiming and payments through Medicare, DVA and NDIS, so you can focus on your care rather than the paperwork.
Heather brings a wealth of experience and familiarity to the practice — and as a true local to Runaway Bay, she knows the community well and treats every patient like a neighbour, not a number.
